Derek Mowbray is visiting Professor in Psychology, an Independent Technical Expert for the European Commission, an Expert Witness in Stress, and an experienced top manager in the public, private, education and voluntary sectors. His NHS career included top management positions at St. Thomas’, the Management Advisory Service to the NHS and the Beeches Management Centre, Belfast. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Healthcare Management. |

Broadly the aim of the NHS Managers Code is to bring about improvements to the culture of the NHS, so enabling improved staff wellbeing, patient care and organisational performance. MAS provides services to support NHS Trusts in Joined up for Jobs Partnership Forum 17th December 2009 facilitating this change and embedding the new Code locally.
